The Nelson Regional Sports Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for sports and recreation programs within Nelson BC and surrounding areas. NRSC works closely with City staff, school boards, and recreation commissions to ensure that our community has access to safe, high-quality recreational opportunities.
Our Purpose
- To provide guidance to community sports organizations in Nelson regarding fundraising for projects to improve the quality of their sporting activities.
- To foster, enhance and support the community sports programs offered by local organizations for the benefit of their members and residents of Nelson BC.
- To administer and disbursing funds for the purpose of managing and promoting community initiatives to improve the quality of sporting activities within the City of Nelson.
